クルーズでのイスラエル訪問記1 ヘブライ語 visit Israel by crushing no.1 Hebrew

今回のクルーズは船にとって特別です。

働いているSilver Spiritという船は年に一度だけ、イスラエルとキプロス、エジプト(今年はキャンセル)へ行きます。

毎年10月の末に行くのですが、去年は8月に下船したため行けず。

イスラエルへは3日間寄る予定で、1日目にテルアビブ、残り2日はハイファの予定だったのですが、昨今のイスラエルの状況を考慮し、テルアビブがキャンセルされ、代わりにロードス島となりました。

テルアビブからエルサレムへ向かうという今回のツアーの一番の醍醐味がキャンセルされ、残念がっているゲストもいました。(ゲストによっては、自分たちのリスクでエルサレムまで向かったそうですが、問題なかったとのことでした。)

私はゴラン高原及びハイファの南にある遺跡へ向かう2日間となりました。

テレビの放送によるイメージからイスラエル全体が危ないと勝手に抱いていましたが全くそんなことはなく、ハイファの街は平和そのものでした。

シリアと国境線を接するトルコだって、同じようなイメージを持たれていますが全くそんなことはないのと同じようなものです。

ハイファはハイテク産業が盛んですが、街

そのものは、あまり観光名所はありません。

ただ気になったのが、ヘブライ語です。

初めて見る文字でしたが、日本人にとって読めそうで全く読めない文字なのです。

なんだか笑ってしまう文字で、街を歩きながら1人にやにやしていたと思います笑

不思議な楽しい文字でした。

This cruise was special for the ship.

My vessel, Silver Spirit, visit Israel, Cyprus, and Egypt( cancelled this year).

They go to every end of November. As I disembarked August last year, I couldn't go.

We supposed to go Israel 3 days, 1st day was tel aviv last 2 days were Haifa.

However, the company consider Israeli situation, cancel tell aviv and go Rhodes instead.

The highlight was that guests go to Jerusalem from tel aviv. But as it was cancelled, guests were really disappointed. ( some of them went to Jerusalem taking risk by themselves. They said it was no problem.)

I went to Golan heights and ruins at the south of Haifa in these 2 days.

Throughout the image of broadcasting, I thought whole Israel must be dangerous but it wasn't at all, Haifa was peaceful.

Even Turkey who has borderline with Syria, we have same image like Israel. It is same situation.

Haifa is famous as high tech industry, but city itself doesn't have sightseeing spot so much.

What caught my mind is Hebrew.

It was first time for me to se Hebrew, for Japanese, we think we could read but we couldn't.

As these letters made me laugh, maybe I smirk when I walk in town.

They are mysterious but funny letters.
