石畳の街、マクリニッツァ Makrinitsa, stone paving town

Volosと言うギリシャの街を拠点に色々なところへ行きます。

以前行ったのがメテオラ。切り立った山の上にそびえ立つ修道院です。(以前書いた"メテオラ"を参照してください。)

今回はVolosからマクリニッツァと言う街へ行ってきました。

ここは避暑地として有名な場所だそうで、実際港からバスで30分。山の中腹にある石畳の街並み。

ギリシャやクロアチアはどの街も石畳です。(ちなみに、だから太陽熱を吸収して街はとても暑い。ドブロブニクは城壁に囲まれているので尚更です。)

それらは何世紀も前からあるため、石がなめられてしまっています。

ところが、このマクリニッツァは立て直したのか、人があまりいないのか、石畳の状態が非常によい。

また、陽に当たらず、山の新鮮な空気を感じられるため、非常に雰囲気がよかったです。

30分しか滞在できなかったのが悔やまれますが、ギリシャの街並みの新しい側面を見れた印象に残る街でした。

We go many places from Volos, Greece.

I went to Meteora before. there are monasteries on the top of the acute mountain.( please refer "Meteora" in my blog)

This time I went to Makrinitsa from Volos.

Here is famous as summer resort, it took 30 minutes by bus from the port. They have stone paving on the middle of mountain.

Greece or Croatia, each city had stone paving.( that's why road absorb heat from the sun and it's very very hot. As Dubrovnik is surrounding the wall, it's much hotter than the others.)

On the other hand, in Makrinitsa, they rebuild or nobody visit, the condition of stone paving is really good.

Furthermore, we feel fresh air from mountain and don't have sunlight. The atmosphere was very good.

It was sad that I could stay only 30 minutes, I could see new side of Greece town. It impressed me a lot.
