ミコノスの裏側 back side of Mykonos island

ギリシャに浮かぶ島、例えばサントリーニ島、ミコノス島などはある部分が栄える一方、それ以外の部分は開発されていません。

例えば、ミコノス島は観光地として栄えるまではほとんど人の住まないしがない漁村でした。

ところが、一度名が売れると、ホテルが建ち、ビーチが作られ、オンシーズンの間、人口の何十倍もの人が訪れます。

とはいえ、観光客が訪れるのは、島の一部だけです。

その未開発の部分を探索しに行こうと、船で借りられる自転車に乗って、うろうろしてみました。

と、張り切ったはいいものの、山ばかりなので自転車での探索は向かない笑

ふた山越えたところで(すでに心は砕けています)、灯台を見つけました。

そこから島の沿岸に向かって歩くと、岩の層がおりなす壮大な景観がひろがっていました。

これを見た時にやっと今回の散策に自己満足出来たので汗、船に戻ったある日のミコノス島での思い出でした。

The islands in Greece like Santorini or Mykonos etc. is developed certain places. It means rest part isn't developed.

For example, Mykonos was just fisherman village. It was poor and only a few people lived before becoming famous as tourist spot.

However, once it it gets fame, the hotels were built, the beaches were made and during on season, tourists comes more than ten times of population.

But tourists visit only certain places.

That's why I decide to explore undeveloped place. I borrowed the bicycle from the ship and explored.

I was enthusiastic but as Mykonos has many mountains, the bicycle wasn't good option...

When I claimed up and down two mountains( my passion was already broken), I found lighthouse.

I walked toward coastline from there, I found magnificent views that was made from the layers of the stones.

When I saw it, I was satisfied with this exploring. And then I went back to the ship.

It was the memory of a day in Mykonos.
