独立記念日のパーティに思うこと my thought in the party of Independence Day

6/12が何の日かご存知ですか？

船員であれば、一度は聞いたことがあると思います。

それはフィリピンの独立記念日です。(どの船も船員の多くがフィリピン人のため)

7月4日も独立記念日だそうですが、色々な事情から今は6月12日となっているとのこと。詳しくはこちらを(http://www.nnh.to/07/04.html#anniversary)

この日は、世界中の各船で、世界中のどこかで(時差があるため)、いつもパーティが行われていると言ってもいいのではないでしょうか。

そう思いを馳せた時に、なぜか非常に鮮明を受け、綺麗だなぁと思いました。

話を戻して独立記念日。

どこかから独立したことを祝う日ですが、日本に独立記念日はなく、建国記念日があるのみです。

独立と建国。意味が近そうで全然違います。

なぜなら、フィリピンはスペイン、アメリカや日本などから独立したからです。

フィリピンの船員が気軽に話しかけてくれるということ。

日本人がアメリカ人に話しかけると言うこと。70年前には考えられないのかもしれません。

時間がもつ忘却の力、癒しの力(とらわれると抑圧の力にもなりえます。)はすごいなと思います。

Do you know what anniversary is it at 12th June?

If you are seaman, you would hear one time.

It is Independence Day in Philippines.( there are many Filipino in each ships.)

4th July is also Independence Day for Filipino, however, they say 12th June is Independence Day for some reasons.

Each ships in all over the world, every where in all over the world( we have jet rag), I could say they had party this day.

When this imagination passes by my brain, it impress me very much.

I return the topic to Independence Day.

This day means they were independent from somewhere.

We don't have Independence Day. We just have national foundation day.

Independence and building. They look similar but are totally different.

Because Philippine was independent from USA, Japan etc.

Filipino crews speak with me friendly.

Japanese speak with American.

We couldn't imagine 70 years ago.

The time has the power to forget the past to heal people( if we're captured, it repress us). It's such a great, isn't it !?
