アマゾンの生活ってなんなのか2 what's the life in Amazon??2

アマゾン川最大の都市マナウスでアマゾン川ツアーに参加した時に面白いものをみました。

それはアマゾンに住んでる人々がマナウス近くで観光客向けにショーを行うというものです。

ショー自体はアボリジニが使うディジュリドゥに近い楽器を使ったりして、それはそれで面白かったのですが、それよりも服装のほうに興味がわきました。

原住民っぽい服装をしていたのですが、ショーが行われた小屋の外に彼らの家があり、そこにいわゆる洋服がかかっていたのです。

つまり彼らが今は行なっていない生活様式をみせて生活の糧にする。

それを観て、私たちが描く「アマゾンの原住民」像に私たちは満足するわけです。

日本に持たれているイメージを観光客にみせるのと同じです。

それが意味することは、前にも書いたと思いますが、世界が均質化してきているということです。

特殊とされるものは淘汰される一方(例えば日本人が着物を着ない)、はたまた逆にお金を払う価値のあるものともなり得る。

その現象は世界中でおきています。

何十年経ったその先に、その淘汰される代わりに商いの色合いを持った「文化」はどうなっていくのか。継承され発展していくのか衰退するのか。

胸に留めておきたいと思います。

When I attend one day river tour at Manaus that is the biggest city in Amazon river, I watched something interesting.

This is the show that Amazonian do for the tourist at near in Manaus.

Show it self was also interested because they use instrument that looks like the one aborigine use. But furthermore I was interested at clothing they wear.

They wear the clothing that we imagine as Amazonian. However, as the truth, outside the stage hole, there is the house for them and western clothing was hang out.

In short, they make a live by showing life style that they don't use anymore.

And then we watch it and we are satisfied because we could see the image of " Amazonian".

This is the same phenomenon that Japanese show the image the tourist has to get money from them.

It means, as I wrote before, that the world becomes( or force us ) to equal.

The culture recognized as special is being eliminated( ex. Japanese don't wear kimono), on the other hand, it might be turned into traditional culture that is worth to be paid.

It happens in all over the world.

After a few decades later, what does the culture that has the aspect of commercial instead of being vanished happen?

It will be progressed or shrieked?

I want to keep in my mind.
