映像作品の美術的価値その1 what's the artistic value of film works?? Vol.1

少し前ですが、時間ができたのでベネチアビエンナーレへ行ってきました。(諦めていましたが、行くことができたのです！)
2つ会場があるのですが、1つしか回る時間がなく(それでも5時間は中にいました)、もう一つは次回にお預けです。
日本でもそういった美術祭は数多くあります。代表ところでは横浜、瀬戸内、越後妻有などなど。
私は個人的に好きではありません。
美の術と書いて美術。美しいとなぁと感じるためにお金を払って見にいくのが美術なのに、美しいと思う作品が美術祭ではほとんどなく、ただ疲れる。
というのが私の今までの印象だからです。
アートが果たそうとする役割は近年拡大されている？させられています。
アートが他の概念(社会や政治など)と結びつこうとした結果、逆に他の概念がアートを取り込もうとしていると思っています。
だから、純粋に美を感じるような機会が減ったのでは？と思っています。
以前から映像作品に違和感があったのですが、その理由にやっと気付きました。
それは、その作品を全て観ることが前提になってないということです。

The other day, I had time and could go to Venice art biennale( I almost gave up but I could go!) there are two main places. As I had time to visit only one( I stayed 5 hours), the other is next time.
In Japan, we also have many art festival. The famous ones are Yokohama, Setouchi and Echigo-tsumari etc.
I don't like them personally.
art means " the method to feel or know beauty" in Japanese.
Because we pay the money to feel beautiful through works, nevertheless there aren't beautiful works at all, I was just tired.
This is my impression to art festival.
Recently the role to art is to be expanded. (with Almost forcefully.)
At the beginning, art starts to connect with other concepts(politics or society etc.). And then now other concepts use the image of art.
That's why I think the opportunity to feel beauty is less than before in museum or other places.
We can see many film works in Venice biennale.
I feel something strange to art film for a long time. This time I understand the reason.
It's because artist doesn't assume that we don't see film from the begin to the end.
