イスタンブールで絵を購入しました。３度目です。

しかも毎回同じ店で。と言うよりは、そこ以外ではなぜかいい絵に巡り合いません。

写真でわかるように、少なくともトルコでは(他のイスラム教国では見たことがないため)、文字を絵の一部として取り込む絵画のスタイルがあります。

モハメッド、アッラーなどを意味する文字？マークは規定されているそうです。

大国主命と漢字で表すのではなく、マークであらわします。

今回の猫が何をあらわしているのか尋ねたものの、彼の英語がたどたどしくわからずじまい。

でも、不思議な美しさをもった綺麗な絵画です。

文字を絵画として取り込む文化はあまりヨーロッパでは見かけません。

それがキリスト教と言う宗教に由来するのかどうなのか私にはわかりません。

でも、そうした違いこそが文化であり、旅をすることで実感できる差なのだと思います。

I bought new picture in Istanbul. This is third time and same shop.

I don't know why but I can't find nice one without there.

As you can see in the arched picture, at least turkey( I've never seen without Muslim countries), they have art style that takes part in words as picture.

The character? or Mark? that represents Mohammed or Allah is regulated. Not like Jesus(= described as words) but describe as mark or symbol.

Nevertheless I ask the owner of book shop what's the meaning of cat, his English wasn't good, I can't understand it.

But this picture has mysterious beautifulness.

In Europe, they don't have culture to take letters part into picture.

I don't know whether it derives from Christian or not.

But such a difference is culture and experience that we can feel only when we travel.
