フィレンツェ。コンパクトとデイヴィッドとピノキオ。 Florence. Compact, David and Pinocchio

一緒に行ったマネージャーが「フィレンツェはコンパクトらしい。」あと、「行ったからにはデイヴィッドを見る。」と言いました。
イタリアと言えば、私にとってなぜかローマで、今でも街の大きさと人の多さ、あと混沌とした感じを覚えています。
有名なドゥオモから街を見渡すと、全てが視界に入るようにとさえ思います。
そしてデイヴィッド。もうお気付きの方もいると思いますが、ミケランジェロ作ダビデ像のことです。英語では、フィレンツェはフローレンスだったりと、日本語と英語では同じものを指してても、名前が違うことは多々あります。
本物はローマにあるらしく、大きな偽物がネプチューン像と一緒に広場にありました。
あと、フィレンツェはピノキオが生まれた街として有名です。
だからでしょう、お土産として至る所でピノキオが見られました笑
もう一生分見た気さえします、実際。
でも、お土産として買ったピノキオはかなり気に入っています。
昼前から出ての半日フィレンツェは疲れましたが、楽しかった。
また行きたいなぁ。
The manager I went together said to me, " Florence is compact." and " I'll definitely watch David! ".
I don't know why my imagination to Italy is Rome. Even if now, I still remember the scale, tourism and the chaos feeling.
So it took 80 minutes by train from the port of Livorno. And when I open the map in Florence, I was surprised at the smallness of the town.
When I looked around the whole view from Duomo, famous spot, we would think we could see all of Florence.
And David. I know someone has already noticed. This is David statue made by Michelangelo. In English, Firenze that is Italian name is Florence. Even if Japanese and English call same thing but it happens a lot that they use different name.
I heard the David is in Rome, the big fake statue was in plaza with Neptune statue.
Furthermore Florence is famous as the town of Pinocchio. That's why I saw so many Pinocchio as souvenir. Actually I watch the Pinocchio as mush as I could in my life. Just kidding.
However, my Pinocchio I bought as my souvenir is really nice and he is one of my favorites.
I left before noon and spent half day at Florence. It was very tired but fun.
I want to go one more time...
