ある日、船で働いていた同僚があるクルーに対して私に言った言葉です。

その方は、レストランのマネージャーだったのですが、人によって態度が全然違いました。

そのため同僚がそう言ったのです。

多かれ少なかれ、人は人によって態度を変えてしまいます。でもその許容幅には限度がある。

そのことをその言葉は教えてくれました。

その一方で、なぜ私たちは不快に感じてプラスティックと言ったのか。

それは自分にも似たような部分があるからではないかと思います。

それをマネージャーは気にしていませんが、私は気にしているため、隠している部分をみせられため不快に思うのでしょう。

人のふり見て我がふり直せ

とは、人として持つ性質はみんな同じだという部分がミソなんだと改めて勉強になりました。
