アマゾンの生活ってなんなのか what's the life in Amazon??

今再びアマゾンへ来ています。パナマ運河を越え50数日。

ここまで来ました。あと2週間弱でフロリダです。

アマゾン川第三の都市サンタレンを自転車で半日ぶらついてみました。

こぎながら考えたのは、「アマゾンの生活」って何だろうかということです。

例えば、私は勝手に、ふんどし一丁で携帯や電気もなく生活しているかも。。。と想像していました。

奥地にいけばそうなのかもしれませんが、サンタレンから片道2時間(自転車)の距離内では全くそんなことはありません。

日本に住んでいる人々に比べると、服装などは高価なものを着ていませんし、家も立派ではありません。

ただ、彼らの生活はなんというか、日本人の生活の線上にありました。

つまり、日本人の生活とは別次元であり、点と点が繋がらないイメージでした。

でも実際はそんなことはなく、対して変わらない。それはショックと言うより、相手からすると失礼で、当たり前の話だと思いました。

でも、幹線道路はコンクリートなのに、その支線は赤土のまま。

道とは土が踏み固められ形成されるのだと知らされました。

その印象は昔の日本はこうだったんだろうなと(昔を知らないので)新鮮でした。

いつかブラジルも、今の日本のように至る所がコンクリートの道路になる日が来るのでしょう。

世界は均質化してきている。

そんなことを思うサンタレンの半日でした。

Now I'm in Amazon again. It passed more than 50days after Panama Canal.

I came until here. I'll arrive Florida by almost 2 weeks.

I tripped Santa rem that is the third largest city in Amazon river by bicycle.

While I use bicycle, I thought "what is the life in Amazon?"

For example, I imagine they don't wear anything without underwear and have mobile phone and electricity... by myself.

If we go deep area, it might happen but the place within 2 hours by bicycle, it never happen.

Compared with people in Japan, they don't have expensive stuff and their house isn't good looking, however, their life is on the line of Japanese life.

In short, my imagination was like that their life was out of Japanese life and the point of Amazonian life and the one of Japanese doesn't connect.

Actually it wasn't true and was same like us. It didn't make me shock rather my stereotype was rude to them and it's the matter of course.

On the other hand, the main road is by concrete but the branch is still by red soil.

It reminds me the road was made by the steps we do. This impression was fresh because Japanese old time was like this( I don't know old time that the road is made of soil)

In the future, Brazil would has the day that everywhere has the road by concrete like current Japan.

The world is getting equal.

I though like this in the half day at Santa rem.
