ウスアイアは世界の果てか Ushuaia is end of the world?

ウスアイア。

世界最南端の街として、自然公園をみに来たり、また、南極への入り口やクルーズの中継地として栄えています。と言っても小さな街ですが。

「世界の果て」が売りで、お土産もたくさんあるのですが、よく考えると日本も世界の果てです。つまり、果てというのも定義次第です。

でもまぁ、日本がガラパゴスとか言われる理由の一つは、果てで他から影響を受けてそうで、底では何も変わっていないからではと思います。

ウスアイアで一番驚いたのは野うさぎです。毛皮産業として発達させようとしたものの頓挫。その後野に放たれ野生化したそうです。

2枚目の写真で非常に見にくいですが、真ん中の奥のほうに2匹います。

野生という言葉がうさぎには似合いませんが、ここではそれが現実です。

今から南極です。

どんな世界がひろがっているのか。期待しすぎず期待したいと思います。

Ushuaia.

As the most south town, people come here to enjoy national park, to go Antarctica or as one of the port during cruising etc. but it's small town.

They call their town as "end of the world" and make a lot of souvenir but if we think Japan is also end of the world.

In short, the end is depended on the definition.

But one of the reasons why Japan called "Galapagos" is because my country is end of the world and we are seemed to be affected from other but in the bottom, our mentality or thinking doesn't change at all.

It's my opinion.

The thing I was most surprised at is wild rabbit. They tried to use rabbit for fur industry but failed. And then, rabbit stay there and became wild.

It's second picture. It might be difficult to recognize, you could see them in the center.

I can't connect "rabbit" with "wild" in Japan, here this is the reality.

From now I go to Antarctica. What a world isn't it?? I expect the world without expecting too much.
