日本に帰った時に外国人は鍼灸を受けるのかと友人や出会った人から受けることがあります。

それを聞かれた時まず尋ねるのが、「あなたは鍼灸を受けたことがありますか？」というもの。

なぜ聞くのかというと、この質問を受けるときに、外国人は鍼灸なんか受けないんじゃないのかというイメージを持ってる印象を持つことが多いからです。

それは裏返すと、日本では馴染みのものとというイメージを持っているわけですが、そんな人が鍼灸や漢方薬を試したことがなかったりします。

When I go back to japan, some persons ask me does foreigner receive acupuncture or not.

When I am asked this question, I ask them have you ever tried acupuncture?

Why I ask this question is because when they ask, I feel they think foreigner don't receive acupuncture in their mind.

On the other hand, this image show us that oriental medicine is popular in Japan, however, sometimes such a person has never used acupuncture or Chinese herb.
